Two Drink Minimum, Three Drink Perfection

Comedian Carrie Gravenson stopped by the International Cinematographers Guild Local #600 New York office in June to tell Cinematic Immunity her story of being an up-and-coming stand-up comic, touring North America and living in NYC.

Carrie, a native New Yorker from Sunnyside, Queens - just like 33% of the Cinematic Immunity team - co-produces The Tomfoolery Hour, a popular monthly comedy showcase in New York City, and can be found traveling the country with the Pink Collar Comedy Tour, which has performed in over 40 cities across North America and was recently featured on CW San Diego 6.

Next week on Cinematic Immunity, our conversation with Douglas C. Hart, veteran 1st AC and author of The Camera Assistant: A Complete Professional Handbook (Focal Press; 1996), continues with more insightful, entertaining and personal stories that you won't hear anywhere else.

You may think Doug had to be talked into doing our interview, but instead, he asked us - many, many times - just when his show was going to happen. We finally relented, and the man generously proceeded to talk for three hours straight before we finally had to pull the plug and head back to the hotel...

...and we thought they were just taking Snapshots.

Her work has appeared in countless publications and magazines worldwide including Time, Newsweek, Vanity Fair and Rolling Stone. Join us on Tuesday, July 29th to hear how she does it all.
